The A SLEEPING SAMURAI® SAKURA CAP is the House's interpretation on their beloved six-panel cap with the classic logo. This iteration is specially designed to celebrate Japan's cherry blossom season, with minimal embroidery of the classic logo on the front, and a white, pale-blue, and pink that's reflective of the sakura. The flat visor retains the cap's urban credentials, while the sports-inspired fabric adds a contemporary look.

THE STORY
I sat in a park in Tokyo, just watching the world go by, when I was transformed into another world. A magical, transient world where pink and white petals magically fall from the sky.
I began to walk under the snowfall of petals that began to stroke my head as they landed. I was ensconced in my new sakura world, where there was nothing but happiness and nothing else mattered apart from this present bliss.
I wanted to take this world away with me but realised I could not. I would have this time only for this moment and within this part of Tokyo, and then it would be gone. I had to capture this moment in time, so that I could take it with me wherever I went. And so I took out my paper and pencil and begam to sketch a baseball style cap that I would call Sakura.
My new creation would include the pink and white of the sakura cherry blossom trees, the orange of the blossom trees dotted sporadically in the distance, and the purest blue of the above sky that formed a backdrop to this moment of wonderment.
Whenever I put on my SAKURA CAP, I am transformed back to that magical day in Japan and the time of the sakura.
